  • Basic Firearms Safety Course (On-Site at AFS)

        Required course for a Mass. Permits Class A, Class B, or FID card

Basic Firearms Safety Course covers:

 

Types of licenses, General laws, types of firearms, types of ammunition, shooting fundamentals, actual firing on range, everything including equipment is included in the fee.

This course and the instructors are certified by the Commonwealth of Mass.

$99.00 - Call to register

Courses are held every other Saturday from 9am to 5pm (1 day course,1 hour for lunch)

  •  Learn To Shoot Package

    A great opportunity for the beginning shooter for only $35.00!  The Learn To Shoot Package includes:

  • Instructor 
  • Range Time
  • (1) .22 caliber firearm
  • 100 Rounds (.22 caliber)
  • 2 Targets

This package does NOT fulfill the State Requirement for a Massachusetts LTC/FID.  $35.00 Offer only used with .22 caliber, trading up calibers will be a higher cost.  Please call ahead to ensure there is an instructor available.

·         NRA Pistol Instructor Course

NRA Pistol Instructor Course:

 

Fundamentals of teaching and instruction, this course trains the trainer. The focus in this course is on proper teaching techniques as well as course preparation. Upon successful completion of this course students are certified by the NRA to Teach the NRA Basic Pistol Course.

  • Tactical Defense Drills
                 <b><font face="Verdana" size="2"> CCW and American Firearms School are offering Tactical Defense Drills on Wednesday Nights!</font></b>                                          CCW Point Blank and AFS are offering Tactical Defense Drills on Wednesday Nights

                          Participants should bring 200 rounds or purchase them at AFS. 

                     The class will run 6-9PM on the two nights. 

                     The class is limited to 12 people per class so sign up early!

 

                         Wednesday July 9th or Wednesday July 23rd

                           Cost is $100.00 per person. - Call to Register

                           Firearms and holsters available at AFS for rent if you do not own them. 

                                                    *AFS policy states that if you rent our gun you must shoot our ammunition

 

  • NRA Range Safety Officer Course

        NRA Certified Range Safety Officer Certification

 

                  NRA Range Safety Officer Course:

 

The NRA Range Safety Officer course teaches range safety fundamentals, commands and procedures. Upon successful completion of this course students are certified by the NRA as Range Safety Officers.
